Chukar
Chukars were on my target list upon arriving at Antelope Island SP. I was surprised by the shear size of the island and wondered whether I would have any luck at all. Within 18 hours I saw a minimum of a dozen individuals including several chicks and juveniles during an afternoon and an early morning drive of the island. While skittish, they were not hard to find and observe.
